Karina Wang founded Photoscapes in 1989 to fulfill the need for an upscale postcard and a souvenir book that would reflect the forever-changing City of Chicago to a well-traveled tourist market.

She is the photographer of her entire line of products. Karina works with a professional local writer which makes it easy to expand and update the books and cards. Photoscapes produces independently and in cooperation with the Italian publisher Bonechi.

Photoscapes sells to Chicago retailers such as: the main attractions Willis Tower, 360 Hancock Center gift shops, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Museum Stores, Navy Pier Stores, Local Books Stores, and various Hotel Gift Shops.

Karina Wang came from Germany in 1968 and has been photographing Chicago for the last 35 years. She has studied with renowned outdoor photographers Galen Rowell and Robert Glen Ketchum.
